Many are wondering if we are indeed living in the last days. No one denies that we are living in some very strange times. What is going on in our world? We have never seen anything like this in all our lives, so why now? It is not like we are engaged in a world war, but in many ways, it is causing the same national unrest. There are so many questions that seem to have no clear answer; however, let us take a closer look at some of the strange things that we are dealing with today.

Let us start with the COVID 19 epidemic, or also known as the pandemic. By the way, what is the difference you might ask? Well, according to my “Hey Siri” this is the answer I got. An epidemic is a disease throughout a certain region, but a pandemic is a disease prevalent in all countries. So, for our purposes, we are going to look at the epidemic of COVID 19 or coronavirus, in America. Is it real or just a hoax carried out by a sinister enemy? Well, most of us know of someone who has had the disease, and some have indeed died, so it is not a hoax in that respect. I have several family members who have contracted the dreaded disease and one first cousin died from it when her nursing home placed her in ward with known COVID patients.

The next question that begs an answer is, “is it man-made or naturally occurring”? There is much evidence surfacing that shows without a doubt that it is lab-produced and most likely by the Chinese Communist government, but why? That prospect has caused much discussion in our government and health services agencies. Our President Trump says he will get to the bottom of this question and make China make restitution if he can prove that.

When COVID first came out back in the early spring of 2020, we were told that masks were of little or no use, but now we are told by the same people that it is necessary and also now required by most governments. It is enforced on everyone where people gather. Restaurants, sporting events, theaters, almost every type of gathering except those who are listed as “protesters”; they seem to be exempt from “social distancing”.

The most egregious enforcement of public gatherings that the government is vigorously enforcing is against the Church. The State is demanding in some places that all meetings and gatherings related to religious worship be stopped. People are being allowed to gather for many things, but governments are objecting to and enforcing a “No Gathering Order” placed on Church gatherings.

One such Church and government contention is with a Church in California. The Church’s pastor, Pastor John McArthur, says that the State of California has threatened him with jail time and high fines if the Church does not stop all gatherings immediately. Well, Pastor McArthur is taking them on, and I think he will win if the Supreme Court hears the case. It is obviously a violation of their right to peaceful assembly and the free practice of religious worship allowed by the U.S. Constitution. Keep in mind that it is not by legislative enactment, but by objection of a civil agency that has no authority to hand out such ultimatums. They say it is borne of a concern for public safety, but that decision should be left up to each pastor and Church governing body to decide.

Then, we are also seeing terrible violence carried out in many of our major cities and townships by a socialist/communist group calling themselves “Black Lives Matter”. Anyone who looks carefully into their purpose of existence will discover that it has nothing to do with black people nor does it attempt to give relief to black lives from murders and violent crimes. It is just not about what the name implies. And, of course, there is Antifa, who’s actions are opposite of what they claim to believe. They say that they are against fascism, anti-fascism, thus the name Antifa. However, Antifa carries out violent acts that prove their supposed beliefs and their actions do not correspond.

There is much evidence that the billionaire, George Soros, is the money and power behind these movements and that he is trying to disrupt and destroy America from within. Why would he want to bring about such a sinister thing as to destroy America, the land of the free and home of the brave? As it turns out, there are a lot of enemies to the peace and prosperity of America. Who are these people and what is their goal and why do they hate our dear homeland so much? The America that we love so dearly is the target of fascists and socialist bent on its destruction. I cannot imagine why they hate us so much, but upon a closer look, I think I know why. We are the only country in the world where the Lord Jesus Christ is elevated and proclaimed. They are Christ haters; God haters and haters of all things that are holy and righteous and good. They are anti-Christs.

Another thing that causes America to stand out and be hated is that America is one of the few nations left on the face of the earth that helps Israel and stands with Israel in their right to be left alone. Israel has many enemies and America stands with her in her defense. Also, President Trump caused the US embassy to be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. That caused a lot of international uproar, but he did it anyway. Many presidents have promised to do that, but he is the only one who did it. He has also been actively promoting peace between Israel and her neighboring Arab nations. Against all odds, it is happening today! So, America is much hated; riots, looting, burning, raping, killing, and war against police are happening all over our beloved homeland.

At such times you would think that there would be a loud outcry for more Police and more law enforcement presence in these troubled cities. Not! As a matter of fact, the exact opposite is happening. Governors, Mayors, and City Councils are calling for a disbanding of the whole police force in many cities and downsizing of many more. What! What in the world is going on America? Why are so many things hitting us all at the same time? Why are we being told that we must stop going to school and Church and stay at home in a state of self-quarantine, while America is burned right before our very eyes? This is total insanity! I find these things completely incredible. This is not normal. There must be a sinister force at work behind these things.

One more thing I will mention while I am bearing the bone is the declaration that there is a shortage on coinage. Shortage on pocket change? My own bank tells me that when I come to the teller’s window that I should have the correct change ready. They say they cannot make change since there is a shortage on coinage. Since when did the U.S. Mint stop making coins? They say that COVID has made them make some changes in staffing and that causes a shortage on coin production in the U.S. I am not buying that; if the Post Office can stay open and staffed just by wearing masks and making social distancing a house rule, then the U.S. Mint should be able to wear masks and continue to make coins since they do not have to entertain the public inside their facilities.

Actually, I have heard that the whole hidden agenda behind such a national adjustment on coinage is to make America get used to the idea of using credit and debit cards instead of cash so that they can be more easily moved from currency to the chip. Our current debit and credit cards are, for the most part, already fitted with a chip that can be plugged into the card reader as opposed to sliding the card over a magnetic strip reader. The chip card is becoming the replacement for cash and is encouraged. Soon, I believe they will replace the card chip with a permanent chip embedded painlessly in the flesh of a person. I think that is the real motive behind the coin shortage fiasco. I’ll leave that right there, because for all of us who are The Saved, The Chosen, The Born Again, The Children of God, and Members of the Household of Faith, will be caught away by the Lord Jesus Christ. We will just miss this embedding of chips that the anti-Christ will be demanding for those who wish to buy or sell in the cashless economy. Imagine, if cash is done away with, the program left will be a total cashless society. I can imagine that the powers-that-be will have no problem persuading the godless population of the wisdom of such a system. The Redeemed will be in Glory when this takes place.

I wish I could say that I have the answers to all these questions that have been posed here. I have my own ideas of what is going on, and I believe that all who have the gift of discernment will also be able to see right through all that is happening in our world today. Let me close with some scripture that might help you to understand what is going on.

First, in Romans chapter 13, the apostle is laying out God’s plan to provide Police protection for our secular lives to maintain peace among men and nations. Listen to what God’s Word says about the Police, considering today’s outcry to do away with the Police. As you read this, think of the actions of the godless rulers who are bent on doing away with Police forces in our society. In Romans 13:1-4 – “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers (the Police). For there is no power but of God: the powers that be (the Police) are ordained of God; whosoever therefore resisteth the power (Police), resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist (rioters and looters) shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers (the Police) are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? (do not be afraid of the Police) Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he (the Police officer) is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; (bad guys look out!) for he (the Police) beareth not the sword (or the gun) in vain: for he (the Police officer) is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil (all the bad guys in the world).” That is clear as to how God looks at the Police officers in our society. They are His tools for our good. So, only those who are evil or those who would tear down God’s system of law and order in the world, are the children of the wicked one. Watch who is calling for the destruction of the Police force in our society. The will of God provides for peace and safety, not lawlessness, as we are seeing today. Jesus said in John 10:10 – “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The thief in this passage is none other than Satan, the same one who is manipulating men to do godless things in the world today. He is the real enemy of us today.

Finally, if you are wondering why is everything seemingly so backwards consider this. Why is good being called bad and bad being called good? Why are governors and mayors allowing rioters and looters to steal and kill and then call it peaceful demonstration that is protected by the Constitution? How can they say such foolishness and get away with it? Is the whole world gone crazy? It is very frustrating to look at your TV evening news and see such violence being tolerated while billions of dollars in damages is amassing daily. What in the world is going on?

I would like to cite Isaiah 5:20 – “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” That is exactly what we are seeing today, and the Prophet Isaiah prophesied this thousands of years ago. We are seeing it play out today, in these last days. Yes, these are the last days because perilous times have come; evil men and seducers have indeed become worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived, just like the Bible said they would.

If you are saved, if you are looking for the Lord’s return, if you are sick and tired of this old world and its Satanic system then you can lift up your heads because your redemption draweth near. Jesus is coming soon, very soon! These are the beginnings of sorrows. Selah
